West Side Walks: Mobility and Responsibility in the Near Westside

A collection of personal narratives by long-term and recent resident of the Westside detailing how the infrastructure of the neighborhood, its sidewalks, represent an institutional neglect for the needs of the disabled and elderly as well as general neglect for resource poor neighborhoods. This book was published by Gifford Street Community Press, a resident led publishing project designed to highlight community concerns and resident solutions.
